Revelation Book Club

The PLC Book Club is taking a tour through Revelation. We will read through the Biblical book together, gathering every two weeks on Sundays after church in the fellowship hall to watch a lesson together and discuss what we are learning and reading. All are welcome and read along with us!

Why Revelation?

The word “revelation” in Greek is where our word ‘apocalypse” comes from. Apocalypse doesn’t mean catastrophe but signifies an unveiling or disclosure, revealing something that has been hidden. The book of Revelation(singular) unveils a Person: Jesus Christ!

From beginning to end, the book focuses on Jesus Christ. It is His revelation to the Apostle John. The prophetic (not allegorical) book shows His authority over His World, His victory over satan, His return in glory and His rule and reign. We see who Jesus is, what He has done and what He will do…bringing about the eternal plan…
