ABOUT US

“…in Christ Jesus you who once were far away have been brought near
by the blood of Christ.
For He Himself is our peace…”
Ephesians 2:13-14a (emphasis added)

OUR VISION

We exist to enrich and transform lives across the prairie corridor and the world with God's Word and the Peace of Jesus Christ.

OUR COMMUNITY

We are of a variety of backgrounds, ages, educations and occupations yet share community with each other through our love of Christ.

We are gathered by God, equipped and sent out by Him to show and tell

His love to others.

WHAT WE DO

We are devoting ourselves to God's Word, God's Love, God's Call and God's People.

We worship. We fellowship.

We are growing in Christ and serving one another and the community around us.

Peace is a fellowship of people growing in relationship with Jesus Christ.  In Him, we are beloved, we belong, we are becoming and we are blessed.

We pray the Holy Spirit continues to empower us to share these foundational values with one another and those who do not yet know Jesus.

Resurrection Path

At the northeast corner of Peace Lutheran Church’s property, you will find a unique path. You are invited to enter the path through an arbor that reads, “He is Risen!” You see the water feature with the first basalt column that reads, “Jesus is the Living Water.” Continue and read the words that Jesus spoke, inscribed on 12 more basalt stones along the path. Pause to rest on a stone bench, ponder the gift of eternal life that Jesus brought to you through His death and resurrection. In your solitude reflect, meditate, pray, and remember those you love and some who have gone before. The path is rocky, there are weeds that surround it, like the enemy always trying to “get in.” It represents the path Jesus walked: There may be times of sorrow and emptiness, times of trial and struggles. However, Jesus invites us to see the calm beauty of order; trees, shrubs, flowers, a beach with a charcoal firepit and an empty cross… “come have breakfast.”

Walk the path in all seasons:

In Spring experience the time of renewal; Easter, Jesus death and resurrection, plants coming out of hibernation, growing, and blooming.

In Summer experience the warmth of sunny days, the leaves are full and the fruits of the earth are maturing, in full bloom.

In Fall: We see the cooler temperatures, colorful foliage before the leaves drop. It is a time of thanksgiving to the Lord for His gifts.

In Winter: It’s colder, a season with snow, ice, shorter days, and the trees are bare but for the evergreens. Remember the birth of Christ and the beautiful celebration of His life among us.
“Go, I am with you always” “Go in Peace.”
