About The Event
Those Fellowship Team ladies are planning a Mardi Gras/Fat or Shrove Tuesday surprise after worship on Sunday, March 2nd. Shrove Tuesday (originally Shrive, meaning to administer the sacrament of confession) has spiritual roots and is a final celebration before Lent and fasting begins. Pancakes are often served to rid the house of tempting fat (butter) and sweets. A potluck is planned for this event. What “fat” treat will you bring?
